Heather Goodson, NCC, LCMHC, LCAS, CSI, BC-TMH

Heather currently holds credentials as a National Certified Counselor, North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental ​Health Counselor, North Carolina Clinical Addiction Specialist, and North Carolina Certified Clinical Supervisor.  She has also completed advanced training and requirements to become a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider.  

Heather received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from St. Lawrence University in New York and have been working in the mental health and substance use fields since 2008.  In 2014 Heather completed an advanced graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.   

She uses techniques from the following theoretical approaches when working with clients: cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing,  solution focused brief therapy and person centered therapy.  Heather specializes in work with adolescents and young adults and focuses on the following treatment areas in her work:  Anxiety, Depression, Perinatal Mood Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Life Transitions, Social Skill Deficits, Adolescent Behavioral Issues.

Shanice Johnson, MS, LCSW

Shanice is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Masters in Social Work from North Carolina Central University.   She has worked with the children and adolescents since 2012.  She specializes in working with the following treatment areas: conduct and oppositional defiant disorders, depression and anxiety, trauma related disorders.  She uses counseling techniques from the following theoretical approaches: cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy and person centered therapy.
